The Angry Birds Movie 2 represents a 2019 animated comedy film derived from the popular Angry Birds video game franchise. It serves as the second entry in this cinematic series, following the initial release of The Angry Birds Movie in Thurop Van Orman. This sequel was directed by Thurop Van Orman and includes screenplay contributions from Peter Ackerman, Eyal Podell, and Jonathon E. Stewart. The voice cast features Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, and Peter Dinklage reprising their roles, while newcomers Leslie Jones, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, and Eugenio Derbez also join the ensemble. The story follows the birds who must unite with pigs to prevent Eagle Island's leader from destroying both their homes.

Production was handled by Sony Pictures Animation and Rovio Entertainment. Heitor Pereira composed the soundtrack once again, incorporating musical elements including works by Kesha and Luke Combs. Classical pop tracks from the 1960s through 2000s also appear in the score, continuing a tradition established in the first film.

The Angry Birds Movie 2 premiered in Finland on August 7, 2019 and arrived in the United States on August 14 under the distribution of Sony Pictures Releasing. Critics generally responded positively, viewing it as an enhancement over its predecessor. The movie earned $153 million against a $65 million budget. A subsequent installment, The Angry Birds Movie 3, is scheduled for release on December 23, 2026 through Paramount Pictures.
