Little is a 2019 American fantasy comedy film directed and co-written by Tina Gordon. The movie features Regina Hall, Issa Rae and Marsai Martin, and tells the story of an overbearing boss who is transformed into her teenage self. Martin acts as executive producer for the production, and at 14 years old, becomes the youngest person ever to hold that role on a Hollywood film.
The movie premiered in New Haven on April 8, 2019, followed by its release in the United States on April 12, 2019 through Universal Pictures. It earned over $48 million worldwide. Critics gave the film mixed reviews, complimenting the acting and emotional depth while noting it lacked sufficient humor for some viewers.
This Legendary Pictures production marks the final film distributed by Universal before the studio resumed cooperation with Warner Bros. Pictures.
