A 2019 American crime comedy-drama film, Hustlers was written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, adapting a 2015 article from New York magazine titled "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. The movie features Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Lili Reinhart, and Keke Palmer, with Lizzo and Cardi B making their film debuts. It depicts a group of strippers in New York City who start targeting wealthy male clients by drugging them and maxing out their credit cards. Jennifer Lopez also produced the project through Nuyorican Productions, working alongside Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay via their Gloria Sanchez banner.

The film was initially announced in February 2016 and intended for financing and distribution by Annapurna Pictures. However, financial issues led Annapurna to withdraw its support in October 2018. STX Entertainment later acquired the rights, and most of the cast joined between that fall and the following spring. Principal photography occurred in New York City from March through May 2019.

Hustlers premiered internationally on September 7, 2019 at the Toronto International Film Festival, followed by a U.S. theatrical release on September 13, 2019. Critics responded favorably to the film, especially praising Lopez’s acting, which earned her nominations at the Golden Globe, Critics Choice, and Screen Actors Guild award ceremonies. Worldwide box office receipts reached $157.6 million, surpassing its production cost of $20.7 million.
