A 2019 American period drama film, Little Women is written and directed by Greta Gerwig. This seventh adaptation of the 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott tells the story of the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—in Concord, Massachusetts, during the 19th century. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern, Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Letts, Bob Odenkirk, James Norton, Louis Garrel, Chris Cooper, and Meryl Streep.

Sony Pictures began developing the film in 2013. Amy Pascal joined as producer in 2015, and Gerwig was hired to write the screenplay the following year. Drawing from Alcott's other works, she completed the script in 2018. That same year, Gerwig was appointed director, marking her second solely directed film. Principal photography occurred from October through December 2018 in Massachusetts, with post-production beginning immediately after filming ended.

Little Women had its premiere at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on December 7, 2019. It opened theatrically in the United States on December 25, 2019 through Sony Pictures Releasing under its Columbia Pictures label. Critics responded positively, especially praising Gerwig's direction and screenplay, along with the performances of the cast. The film earned $218 million worldwide. It received six Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress (Ronan), Best Supporting Actress (Pugh), Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score, winning for Best Costume Design. It also received five British Academy Film Award nominations, with a win for Best Costume Design, and two Golden Globe Award nominations.
