It Chapter Two is a 2019 American supernatural horror film directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman. It serves as the sequel to It (2017) and concludes a two-part adaptation of the 1986 novel It by Stephen King. The movie features James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Andy Bean, and Bill Skarsgård in the role of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. The story takes place 27 years after the events of the first film, following the Losers Club as they come together once more to defeat It for good.

Discussions about a follow-up to the original began in February 2016. By September 2017, New Line Cinema confirmed that the movie would hit theaters in September 2019, with Dauberman handling the script and Muschietti directing. Filming occurred between June and November 2018 at Pinewood Toronto Studios, Oshawa, Toronto, and Port Hope, under a $79 million budget.

The film made its debut at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles on August 26, 2019, followed by a U.S. release on September 6. Critics gave the movie mixed reviews, applauding the acting—especially Skarsgård and Hader—but criticizing its length, with many considering it less impressive than the first film. Worldwide box office returns reached $473.1 million. A prequel television series titled It: Welcome to Derry launched on HBO on October 26, 2025, with Skarsgård returning as Pennywise.
