A 2019 American biographical crime drama film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile recounts the life of serial killer Ted Bundy. The movie was directed by Joe Berlinger and written by Michael Werwie, adapting Elizabeth Kendall's memoir, The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy. Zac Efron portrays Bundy, Lily Collins plays Kendall, Kaya Scodelario stars as Bundy's wife Carole Ann Boone, and John Malkovich plays Edward Cowart, the judge during Bundy's trial. Cowart's comments about Bundy's crimes while imposing the death sentence inspired the film's title.

The film premiered worldwide at the Sundance Film Festival on January 26, 2019, then released in the United States on May 3, 2019 through Netflix. Critics gave the film mixed reviews overall, although Efron and Collins received commendations for their acting.
