The Roottrees are Dead is a 2023 detective puzzle video game created and released by Jeremy Johnston. Players must research to complete the fragmented Roottree family tree. The game first launched as a browser title, later receiving a 2025 remaster from developer Robin Ward in partnership with Johnston. This updated version includes enhanced visuals and design, plus a new case named Roottreemania that expands on the initial story.
