Shadow Labyrinth 2025
Shadow Labyrinth is a 2025 action-adventure video game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It belongs to the Pac-Man series, reimagining its iconic maze gameplay within a darker science-fiction universe tied to Bandai Namco’s UGSF fictional timeline, integrating elements from the Xevious franchise.
Players control "Swordsman No. 8", navigating interconnected maze-like levels while battling and consuming enemies, aided by a mysterious figure called "PUCK". The game merges classic action-adventure combat with movement inspired by early Pac-Man titles and was widely labeled as a Metroidvania after its reveal.
The title was first showcased through the Secret Level anthology episode "Circle", functioning as an official prologue. Shadow Labyrinth launched on July 18, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
