Pokémon Friends 2025
Pokémon Friends is a 2025 mobile puzzle video game that serves as a spin-off within the Pokémon franchise. Players engage in various puzzle-solving tasks, earning yarn items as rewards. These yarn pieces allow players to create plush toys, which can be used for decorating an in-game space or given as gifts to town residents.
The game was developed by Wonderfy in cooperation with The Pokémon Company, with Wonderfy having prior experience in educational games and properties. Friends was designed to offer a calming and instructive experience, especially for younger audiences. It made its initial appearance in July 2025 during a Pokémon Presents showcase, followed by releases on mobile platforms and the Nintendo Switch. While the game is free to download on mobile systems, extra content packs must be bought separately to unlock all puzzles and features.
Reviews of Pokémon Friends were divided among critics. Some found the gameplay enjoyable, while others criticized the necessity of purchasing additional content to access the full experience.
