NFL on Netflix 2024
NFL on Netflix is an American streaming series that airs National Football League games through the subscription platform. Starting in 2024, the service began showing regular season games under a three-year agreement. These matches are often promoted as special events and include standalone games, such as the Christmas Day doubleheader known as NFL Christmas Gameday.
The Christmas games feature entertainment elements, including celebrity correspondents from Netflix original shows during pregame segments. The second game of the doubleheader includes a halftime show with a major recording artist. Until 2026, CBS Sports produced most of these broadcasts using NFL on CBS personnel, while NFL Media handled coverage from its Inglewood studios and EverWonder Studio managed the Netflix-specific presentation.
In May 2026, Netflix extended its agreement through 2029. Beginning in 2026, additional games will be added, including a Week 1 match, a Wednesday-night game before Thanksgiving, and a Week 18 Saturday game. The service will also broadcast at least one Christmas Day game annually starting in 2027. Netflix will become the exclusive broadcaster of NFL Honors.
As required by NFL regulations for non-free-to-air broadcasts, these telecasts are simulcast on local television stations in each participating team's home market.
