Presumed Innocent is an American legal thriller anthology series that aired on Apple TV+ starting June 12, 2024. It was created by David E. Kelley and features Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role. The show is based on Scott Turow's 1987 novel of the same name, which had previously been adapted as a 1990 film starring Harrison Ford and Brian Dennehy. In July 2024, the series was renewed for a second season. That season will be based on the book Dissection of a Murder by Jo Murray. The first season earned four acting nominations at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, recognizing Jake Gyllenhaal, Ruth Negga, Bill Camp and Peter Sarsgaard.
