On Call 2025
On Call represents an American police procedural and serial drama crafted by Tim Walsh and Elliot Wolf for distribution on IMDb TV. This program features Troian Bellisario and Brandon Larracuente while depicting Long Beach Police Department officers based in California. The show received initial approval in May 2021, with Dick Wolf, Elliot's father, serving as executive producer through his Wolf Entertainment company. Ben Watkins assumed the role of showrunner and also executive produced alongside Walsh, Elliot Wolf, and additional personnel.
This marks Dick Wolf's inaugural streaming television series and his first production in half-hour format. The program subsequently moved its distribution to Amazon Prime Video. Additional cast and crew members had previously collaborated with Wolf on his various franchises. Production occurred on-location in Long Beach during 2023 using innovative methods. The series consisted of eight episodes released on January 9, 2025, followed by a soundtrack album the subsequent day. Critical reception proved divisive. On Call concluded in May 2025 after completing one season, though it briefly attracted interest from alternative networks.
