Look at Me 2022
A 2022 documentary film, Look at Me was made by Sabaah Folayan. It examines the life and death of Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, better known as XXXTentacion. The title refers to his popular single. The film debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 15, 2022 and became available on Hulu in May 26, 2022.
The project was initially revealed on June 18, 2019, marking the first anniversary of XXXTentacion's killing. Production started around April 2017. The documentary features archival material from X's final years, along with contributions from many people close to him including his mother Cleopatra Bernard, girlfriend Jenesis Sanchez, ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala, and best friend and rapper Ski Mask the Slump God. Also included are interviews with members of XXXTentacion's hip hop group, Members Only like Bass Santana, Cooliecut, and Kid Trunks. Critics and audiences responded positively to the release.
On May 23, 2022, XXXTentacion's estate shared through Instagram that a compilation record called Look at Me: The Album would accompany the film. That album dropped on June 10, 2022 after the track "True Love" featuring Kanye West was issued.
