Pavements 2024
Pavements (film) is a 2024 American experimental musical biopic concert film. Pavements was written, co-produced, and directed by Alex Ross Perry. The docufiction focuses on the American indie band Pavement, blending scripted scenes with documentary footage of the band. It includes a musical stage play featuring songs from their discography and a museum dedicated to their history.
Pavements had its debut at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2024. The film was issued by Utopia with a restricted theatrical showing in the U.S., starting at the Film Forum in New York City, New York on May 2, 2025, followed by a broader release on June 6.
