Starring Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Bill Skarsgård, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe

A 2024 American gothic horror film, Nosferatu is written and directed by Robert Eggers. This remake draws from Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922), which was based on Bram Stoker's Dracula (1897), blending elements from both sources. The movie features Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe in its cast.

Work on the project started in 2015, when Eggers intended it as his second film; he called it a personal endeavor but later decided to postpone production. Skarsgård and Depp were confirmed for lead roles by September 2022. Principal photography occurred mostly at Barrandov Studios in Prague from February through May 2023.

The film made its debut in Berlin on December 2, 2024 before opening in U.S. theaters via Focus Features on December 25. Critics responded favorably, and the film performed well commercially, earning $182 million globally against a $50million budget—marking Eggers' most profitable work to date. At the 97th Academy Awards, Nosferatu received nods for Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
