A 2024 French horror film, Mads (stylized as MadS), was written and directed by Yovel Lewkowski. The production occurred over ten days in and around Mulhouse, with cinematographer Philip Lozano operating the single camera. Five takes were filmed, with only the final version used. The film debuted at Fantastic Fest on 21 September 2024 and saw digital release on Shudder of 18 October 2024. Critics responded positively, praising both the one-shot technique and Pavy’s performance, with the film earning $49,816,.
