A 2024 American science fiction action film, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is the fourth entry in the Planet of the Apes reboot series and tenth overall. Directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman, it continues the story from War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), functioning as a standalone sequel. The movie features Owen Teague, Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy in leading roles. Set many generations after the events of the previous film, it follows Noa (Teague), a young chimpanzee hunter, who travels with Mae (Allan), a human woman, to shape the future of both species.

Work on a new Planet of the Apes movie started in April 2019 after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. Ball was hired as both writer and director that December. The screenplay was largely completed during the 2020 COVID-19 period. Casting began in June 2022 once the script was finished. Teague was chosen to play the main character in August, with the title and further casting details revealed later. Principal photography commenced in October 2022 in Sydney and concluded in February 2023, with a production budget ranging from $120 to 160 million.

The film had its world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on May 2, 2024. It was distributed by 20th Century Studios and released in the United States on May 10. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes earned over $397 million worldwide. Critics gave it generally positive reviews, although it was considered less impressive than earlier films in the franchise. The movie was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 97th Academy Awards. A sequel is currently in development.
