It Ends with Us 2024
A 2024 American romantic drama film, It Ends with Us is directed by Justin Baldoni and written by Christy Hall, adapting the 2016 novel from Colleen Hoover. Starring Blake Lively with Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate, and Hasan Minhaj, the narrative centers on Lily Bloom (Lively), a florist entangled in an abusive relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni). Her past comes back into play when ex-boyfriend Atlas Corrigan (Sklenar) reappears. Principal photography occurred from mid-2023 through early 2024, interrupted by the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. The film debuted at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City on August 6, 2024, followed by a U.S. release on August 9 from Sony Pictures Releasing. Critics gave it mixed reviews, yet it performed well financially, earning $351 million against a $25 million budget. Controversy surrounded the production due to disputes between Lively and Baldoni, resulting in significant legal conflict.
