Bardejov is a 2024 American historical war film written by Shmuel Lynn, directed by Danny A. Abeckaser and starring Robert Davi and Abeckaser.

Based on a true story, Bardejov depicts the bold strategy developed by Rafuel Lowy (played by Robert Davi), a prominent wine-maker and community leader, to protect young women of Bardejov from being selected for the first official Jewish transport to Auschwitz by deliberately infecting them with typhus.

In the early hours of 1942, the Jews of Bardejov were startled awake by loud drumming. The Young Hlinka Guards––Slovakian Nazi collaborators––had posted notices ordering all Jews to report for work. No exemptions allowed. Lowy convened the Bardejov Jewish Council to determine their response.

Soon after, additional announcements appeared with new requirements: All Jewish girls must be sent to work in a shoe factory in the East. No exceptions. Lowy called together the Council to brainstorm how to keep their daughters safe or shield them while working at the factory. However, they soon discovered there was no such factory. The girls were destined for Auschwitz. With limited time and increasing scrutiny from the Hlinka, Lowy and his people formulated a desperate plan: introduce a Typhus vial into Bardejov to infect the girls, hoping to trigger quarantine measures before their deportation.
