Peter Rabbit is a 2018 live-action animated comedy film inspired by the character created by The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. The movie was directed by Will Gluck and written by Gluck along with Rob Lieber. In the live-action segments, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, Sam Neill, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste appear; meanwhile, Daisy Ridley, Elizabeth Debicki, Margot Robbie, and James Corden provide voices for the animated characters including the main figure. The plot centers on Peter Rabbit encountering fresh challenges after the arrival of the late Mr. McGregor's great-nephew, who becomes aware of the mischief his family causes.

The film made its world premiere at The Grove on February 3, 2018. It opened in the United States on February 9, 2018, the United Kingdom on March 16, 2018, and Australia on March 22, 2018. Critics gave the film mixed feedback, mostly due to its differences from the original source material. The movie earned $358 million globally against a $50 million budget. A follow-up titled Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway came out in 2021 without Sony Pictures Animation's participation but performed less well at the box office than the initial film.
