The movie stars Evan Peters, Barry Keoghan, Blake Jenner, Jared Abrahamson, and Ann Dowd in a retelling of the 2004 book theft at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky. The Montclair Film Festival awarded American Animals the Junior Jury Award.
