Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a point-and-click adventure game released on October 28, 2025 for Windows, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by Italian studio Smallthing Studios and published by ININ Games, it serves as a prequel to Adventure Soft's 1993 title Simon the Sorcerer. The game takes place a few weeks before the original events, following eleven-year-old Simon as he is drawn into a magical parallel world through an ancient prophecy.
A 2010 adventure series, it features hand-drawn art and writing that received generally favourable reviews. Critics appreciated Chris Barrie's return as Simon's voice actor. However, many reviewers noted the puzzle difficulty and lack of hint system as drawbacks.
