Penguin Colony 2026
Penguin Colony is a 2026 walking simulator video game developed by Origame Digital and published by Fellow Traveller Games, featuring the voice of Lenval Brown. The game presents an anti-colonial retelling of At the Mountains of Madness, placing players as a penguin free to explore and observe the ruins of a failed Nazi scientific mission in Antarctica. Drawing heavily from the developers' own Māori heritage, the game received mixed reviews upon release. Critics appreciated its unique viewpoint and cultural/political commentary, though they also pointed out its brief length, clunky controls, and occasionally tedious presentation.
