Palworld 2026
Palworld is a 2021 monster-taming survival video game developed by Japanese studio Pocketpair. It was launched in early access for Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in January 2024, followed by PlayStation 5 release in September 2024. The full version of the game released on July 10, 2026.
Players explore an open world filled with animal-like creatures known as "Pals". These creatures can be battled and captured for use in building, movement, and fighting. Each Pal assigned to a base will automatically perform tasks for the player. The game supports both single-player and online multiplayer modes, allowing up to 32 players per server.
The concept of using firearms with Pals led to the nickname "Pokémon with guns". Additional features include using Pals for food or labor in mining and manufacturing settings. While some praised its gameplay, content, and satirical theme, others criticized its use of shock humor and lack of originality in design and mechanics.
