Dark Auction 2026
Dark Auction is a 2026 adventure visual novel developed by IzanagiGames and published by Good Smile Company. The game uses a dark anime-style environment and explores memory, trauma, and guilt through a linear investigative approach. It was first released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Windows in January 2026. The narrative centers on Noah Crawford, who is tormented by childhood memories of his mother leaving him behind. He resides with his father Leonard Crawford.
The game received controversy over its original title. Dark Auction gained slightly positive reviews for its writing and treatment of story themes and mystery. Critics were split on the inclusion of AI and grammar errors, while also pointing out insufficient work on the game's visual art.
