Silica is a science fiction real-time strategy shooter video game released in 2026 for Microsoft Windows through Steam. Developed by Martin "Dram" Melichárek and published by Bohemia Interactive, it began as a mod for Emperor: Battle for Dune before being acquired by Bohemia Incubator in 2020. The game launched in early access on 3 May 2023. Set in the 24th century on the exoplanet Baltarus, players engage in a three-sided conflict over Balterium, a rare mineral with power manipulation capabilities. Gameplay combines shooter and strategy elements, with roles determining which mode is accessible. It supports single-player and multiplayer modes. The game received mixed reviews, though critics noted its potential.
