Expeditions: Rome 2022
Expeditions: Rome is a 2022 tactical role-playing video game developed by Logic Artists and published by THQ Nordic. It is the third entry in the Expeditions series, following Expeditions: Conquistador and Expeditions: Viking. The game was released for Windows on January 20, 2022. Players control a legatus investigating their father's murder while journeying through the Roman Republic and neighboring lands to spread Roman power globally. The game merges local tactical combat with other gameplay styles. Critics gave the game mostly positive feedback, highlighting its solid gameplay and narrative elements. However, reviewers noted that legionary battles felt less robust compared to tactical segments and that combat durations could be excessively long.
