Absurdle is a 2022 web-based puzzle word game developed by Sam Hughes, known as qntm. The game functions like a Wordle clone where players try to guess a five-letter word. Unlike traditional versions, Absurdle modifies the solution during gameplay. Hughes designed this game as an experiment inspired by his Hatetris project. He wanted to explore the passive-aggressive elements found in the original Wordle format.
