BROK the InvestiGator 2022
BROK the InvestiGator is a point-and-click beat 'em up indie video game made by French studio COWCAT Games using GameMaker Studio 2. The game was funded through Kickstarter.
It released worldwide on August 26, 2022 for Microsoft Windows on Steam, with Linux and macOS versions following on October 4. Console editions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One came out on March 1, 2023.
Mobile versions for Android and iOS launched on February 21, 2024. The game is free to download but only the first chapter is available, with additional chapters purchasable. A spin-off visual novel, BROK - Natal Tail, A New Christmas, was released on Steam on December 13, 2024. This Christmas-themed game lacks character voiceovers. Console versions followed on December 1, 2025.
