The Andy Warhol Diaries 2022
The Andy Warhol Diaries is a 2022 American documentary limited series created by writer and director Andrew Rossi, with Ryan Murphy as executive producer. It adapts the 1989 book of the same name by Andy Warhol, edited by Pat Hackett. The show features AI technology simulating the pop artist's own voice through diary entries. Netflix premiered the six-episode series on March 9, 2022. The concept drew inspiration from The Andy Warhol Robot, Warhol's persona as an "asexual robot" at The Factory in the 1960s, and his statement that "Machines have less problems." Bill Irwin provided the original narration later processed by AI software.
