Chromosome 21 is a Chilean crime thriller series created by Matías Venables and Nico Martínez Bergen. The show follows a police investigation involving a young man with Down syndrome accused of murder. It originally aired on Chilean network Canal 13 starting 14 October 2022. Netflix later obtained international streaming rights and posted it 8 February 2023. The series earned four nominations at the 7th Caleuche Awards, with Sebastián Solorza taking home the breakthrough actor honor. Additionally, it received five Platino Award nominations 10th.
