Girls5eva is an American musical comedy television series made by Meredith Scardino and broadcast on Peacock. It began on May 6, 2021, and features Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps, Paula Pell, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The show centers on four women who were once part of a girl group called Girls5eva. That group enjoyed brief popularity around the year 2000 before disappearing. Now in their later lives, these women come together again hoping to regain musical success. In June 2021, the series was renewed for a second season that started on May 5, 2022. Later, in October 2022, Peacock decided not to continue the show. It then moved to Netflix for its third season, which launched on March 14, 2024. In December 2024, Netflix canceled the series.
