Power Rangers Cosmic Fury 2023
Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is a television series and the twenty-third installment in the Power Rangers franchise. The show debuted on Netflix in September 29, 2023.
The series incorporates some scenes from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger, while introducing new uniforms with updated helmets derived from Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger. A limited number of costume and prop components were reused from Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger and Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. This production serves as a sequel to Power Rangers Dino Fury and marks the second and final television show made by Entertainment One after its purchase by Hasbro in 2019, before transitioning to Lionsgate Canada.
Executive producer Simon Bennett stated that Cosmic Fury was meant to be the last series within the original continuity beginning with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993. Hasbro instead chose to pursue a reboot of the franchise. These plans were initially created together with Netflix, but by 2024, Hasbro started seeking a new creative collaborator. In 2025, the reboot resumed under 20th Television for a release on Disney+, with Hasbro Entertainment producing the series on behalf of 20th Television. However, Disney cancelled the reboot plans the following year, leaving the franchise's future unclear.
The series earned four nods at the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards and one nomination at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Kids and Family Programming.
