Daisy Jones & the Six 2023
A 2026 American musical drama television miniseries, Daisy Jones & the Six was created by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, adapting the 2019 novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The show is set in the Los Angeles music scene of the 1970s and follows the fictional rock band titled Daisy Jones & the Six through a documentary-style format featuring interviews with band members and archival concert and recording session footage. Vocals for the main characters are performed by series leads Riley Keough and Sam Claflin. Reid drew inspiration from her childhood viewing of Fleetwood Mac performances on television. Supporting cast includes Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Will Harrison, Josh Whitehouse, and Sebastian Chacon as band members.
The series debuted on Amazon Prime Video on March 3, 2023 and garnered mostly favorable reviews from critics. It was nominated for several awards at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Actress for Keough, and Outstanding Supporting Actress for Morrone.
