CNN News Central 2023
CNN News Central is a daytime news program produced for the U.S. cable network CNN. The show began airing on April 3, 2023, replacing the previous CNN Newsroom block. Its afternoon segment started on April 17, 2023. The morning edition features anchors John Berman, Kate Bolduan, and Sara Sidner based in New York City. This version airs simultaneously on HLN. The afternoon segment is hosted by Brianna Keilar and Boris Sanchez from Washington, D.C. In February 2024, the morning show took over the time slot previously occupied by CNN This Morning. The first 30 minutes of the morning broadcast are now shown on CNN International. By early 2025, the global simulcast expanded to include the first hour and a half of each morning show.
