X-Men '97 is a 2026 American animated television series produced by Marvel Studios Animation for the streaming service Disney+. It features the superhero team the X-Men, with the show being a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series from 1992 to 1997. The new version continues the story from the earlier series and was created by Beau DeMayo. DeMayo served as head writer for seasons one and two, with Matthew Chauncey taking over for season three. Jake Castorena acted as supervising director throughout the production.

The main cast includes Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Alison Sealy-Smith, Cal Dodd, J. P. Karliak, Lenore Zann, George Buza, A. J. LoCascio, Holly Chou, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Matthew Waterson, Ross Marquand, and Adrian Hough. Sealy-Smith, Dodd, Zann, Buza, and Hough returned to their roles from the original show, along with Christopher Britton, Randall Carpenter, and Robert Cait. Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alyson Court, Lawrence Bayne, and Ron Rubin also came back to voice new characters in the series. In season two, Chris Potter, Gui Agustini, and Gil Birmingham were promoted to starring roles. Naoko Mori, Christopher Barger, and Carolina Ravassa joined as new cast members.

The revival was first mentioned in June 2019 and officially revealed in November 2021, with DeMayo and Castorena attached to the first season. This marks the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since they regained rights to the characters for film and television. Animation was handled by Studio Mir and Tiger Animation, using a modernized version of the original series' visual style. Eric Lewald, Julia Lewald, and Larry Houston returned as consultants and were made executive producers for season two. Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura also directed episodes. In March 2024, DeMayo was removed from his role as head writer and replaced by Chauncey in July.

The series premiered on March 20, 2024. Season one, with ten episodes, was released through May, while season two, containing nine episodes, aired from July to August 2026. Plans are underway for a third and fourth season, scheduled to release yearly after the second. The show has received critical praise and multiple awards.
