Magnum Media and BBC Studios Los Angeles produced the show in partnership with Amazon MGM Studios. The initial season featured comedian Patton Oswalt as host, while Amazon arranged a licensing deal with Fox to air the series on television. In January 2025, Fox decided to continue the program by ordering a second season, this time with Joel McHale taking over hosting duties, which began in June 2025. Season three launched in April 2026.
