Have I Got News for You (HIGNFY) is an American television panel show inspired by the British series with the same title. The program debuted on September 14, 2024 on CNN, airing during the 2024 United States election period. Each episode features two teams led by Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black, who respond to news-related quiz questions about recent happenings from the past week. Unlike the British version that has invited guest hosts since 2002, this adaptation appointed Roy Wood Jr. as its regular host. Though reviews were varied, the show helped increase network ratings for its time slot and led to a second season renewal, starting on February 15, 2025. Broadcast episodes are available on the CNN app shortly after airing, with a one-day delay on HBO Max.
