Walking with Dinosaurs represents a 2025 six-part nature documentary television miniseries crafted by BBC Studios Science Unit and PBS in collaboration with ZDF and France Télévisions. This production is promoted as a resurgence of the initial 1999 Walking with Dinosaurs miniseries, despite lacking any personnel returning from the 1999 production. Every episode examines a specific dinosaur individual unearthed at an ongoing excavation site. The narrative of each primary dinosaur character is constructed via archaeological research conducted on location combined with computer-generated imagery integrated into live-action settings.
The series premiered on BBC One in the United Kingdom beginning 25 May 2025, with subsequent episodes available through BBC iPlayer on identical dates. PBS initiated the series broadcast in the United States as a three-day presentation commencing 16 June 2025. Additional distribution included ABC TV and ABC iview within Australia along with iQIYI in China. Critics acknowledged the program's scientific precision, although general assessments of its execution proved divided.
