The Paper represents an American mockumentary sitcom series crafted by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. This production serves as both sequel and continuation to the American mockumentary show The Office, which initially aired on NBC between 2005 and 2013. The program features Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, joined by Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, Eric Rahill, and Duane Shepard Jr., with Oscar Nunez returning to his previous role from The Office. Set in Toledo, Ohio, the same documentary team that previously documented employees at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, Pennsylvania location two decades ago now concentrates on the Toledo Truth Teller, a historic but deteriorating Midwestern newspaper attempting to revive itself through volunteer journalists.

The Paper debuted on Peacock during September 4, 2025, presenting its ten-episode inaugural season. Prior to the series launch in September 2025, the show received renewal for a second season that launched on September 9, 2026.
