Mandala Murders represents a 2025 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller series debuting on Netflix during 25 July 2025. This production emerges from creative collaboration between Gopi Puthran and Manan Rawat, with YRF Entertainment handling production duties. The show adapts the novel The Butcher of Benares, establishing its narrative within the imagined locale of Charandaspur, Uttar Pradesh. Narrative elements incorporate mystery, supernatural horror, and psychological thriller components.

Detective partnerships involving Rea Thomas and Vikram Singh drive the central investigation into ritualistic homicides connected with the clandestine organization known as Aayastis and the legendary figure termed Yast. Principal cast members include Vaani Kapoor, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Surveen Chawla, Raghubir Yadav, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. The eight-episode format examines concepts contrasting faith against scientific methodology and romantic love versus personal sacrifice. The program integrates contemporary police investigation techniques with ancient occult traditions. Critical reception demonstrates divided opinions, recognizing strong aspects in environmental storytelling, visual presentation, and acting talent while noting inconsistencies in tempo and plot sophistication.
