Bad Thoughts 2025
Bad Thoughts represents an American dark sketch comedy program authored by Tom Segura for Netflix. The series features Segura alongside a group of performers including Daniella Pineda, Robert Iler, Arturo Castro, Kirk Fox, Christina Pazsitzky, Tim Baltz, Dan Stevens, and Jimmy Kimmel. This television program debuted on Netflix during May 13, 2025.
The format consists of multiple short segments examining morbidly humorous and challenging subjects. Production occurred through YMH Studios in collaboration with Netflix.
A segment focuses on Rex Henley (Segura), an international country music artist who, following creative exhaustion, begins abducting his supporters and compelling them to reside in a destitute community. Within this setting, he manipulates them into disclosing their most intimate and distressing memories in pursuit of material for a fresh commercial success.
During June 2025, the program received approval for a subsequent season that launched on May 24, 2026. It has been recognized with two 2026 Emmy nominations specifically for Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series, plus one nomination for Segura in the Outstanding Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series category.
