Labor of Love 2020
Labor of Love is an American dating game show that ran on Fox from May 21 to July 16, 2020. Kristin Davis, known for her role in Sex and the City, served as host while former The Bachelor season 11 contestant Kristy Katzmann competed. Eight men took part in challenges and dates designed to assess their parenting and personal abilities. Katzmann evaluated their performance, advancing suitable candidates each week until the finale. At the end of the series, she made the final decision alongside Davis on whether to select one man to begin a family with. Production started in mid-2017.
The program generated controversy online and critics labeled it "bizarre" and "dangerous in gamifying and making a competition out of the creation of life."
Following completion of filming, Katzmann dated winner Kyle Klinger for several months before they separated. Katzmann then chose to pursue in vitro fertilization independently.
On September 8, 2021, confirmation was given that the series had been officially cancelled.
