Forensic Files II 2020
Forensic Files II is an American true crime documentary series that serves as both a sequel and revival of the original Forensic Files. Initially airing on HLN for its first three seasons, the show moved to sister network Investigation Discovery for its fourth season. The production was marketed as a distinct continuation of the franchise, featuring Bill Camp replacing Peter Thomas as narrator.
The series debuted on February 23, 2020 with a 16-episode initial season. On May 12, 2020, it received renewal for seasons two and three. Season two launched on July 11, 2021, season three followed on February 27, 2022, and season four aired on July 9, 2023. After this, the program entered a hiatus and has not resumed production or released new content through 2026. In October 2026, it was announced that Radial Entertainment and Content Partners would begin developing a 20-episode revival of the original Forensic Files format.
