Bad Boy Billionaires: India 2020
Bad Boy Billionaires: India is a 2020 Indian documentary series that explores the lives of four major business figures—Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy, and Ramalinga Raju. These individuals rose to prominence in their respective industries before facing accusations of corruption. The series examines significant financial frauds within India and was partially released after a legal action brought by Subrata Roy's Sahara Group.
Netflix shared the official trailer on 24 August 2020, though it was later taken down due to legal complications. Originally, the documentary was set to premiere on Netflix in 2 September 2020. Three of the four episodes launched globally on Netflix in October 2020, receiving positive feedback and high viewership. It ranked as India's most-watched Netflix program for several weeks and nearly topped Netflix's worldwide charts. The series was recognized as the year’s most-viewed documentary in India and earned the Filmfare Award in 2021. The final episode, focusing on Ramalinga Raju, debuted on 31 December 2025.
