Adventure into Fear 2020
Adventure into Fear is a group of American television series planned for the streaming service Hulu, rooted in characters from Marvel Comics publications. These shows were produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios, designed as independent series within the same universe as Marvel's other television projects, while remaining separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). After canceling all Marvel Netflix series, Hulu commissioned a collection of interconnected shows based on fear-themed Marvel content in May 2019. The project was named "Adventure into Fear", featuring Ghost Rider with Gabriel Luna reprising his role from ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Helstrom starring Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon. Ghost Rider was removed during development, and Helstrom launched in October 2020 before disconnecting from the MCU. Additional series were under development, but work halted when Marvel Television merged into Marvel Studios in December 2019. Helstrom was ultimately canceled in December 2020.
