Shadow and Bone is a 2021 American fantasy television series created by Eric Heisserer for Netflix, featuring Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, and Archie Renaux in lead roles, with Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, and Kit Young appearing in supporting capacities. The show originates from the writings of Leigh Bardugo and is set within the Grishaverse universe. It centers on Alina Starkov (Li), an orphaned cartographer who uncovers her abilities as a Grisha, a person with magical powers essential to saving her war-torn land.

Season one, adapting Bardugo’s 2012 novel Shadow and Bone, debuted on April 23, 2021 and includes an original narrative thread involving the Crows, a gang from Bardugo's Six of Crows series. The series garnered generally favorable reviews, particularly for its world-building and acting, although some critiques focused on pacing. Due to its popularity, Netflix ordered a second season that launched on March 16, 2023, covering Siege and Storm (2013), Ruin and Rising (2014), and portions of Crooked Kingdom (2016). Nevertheless, Shadow and Bone was discontinued after two seasons in November 2023.
