Fate: The Winx Saga is a supernatural teen drama series adapted from the animated Winx Club created by Iginio Straffi. The show is made by Archery Pictures and produced in partnership with Rainbow, a studio co-owned by Straffi and Viacom during that period. Brian Young served as developer, showrunner, and executive producer for the series, with Abigail Cowen, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt, and Elisha Applebaum playing key roles in the cast.

Iginio Straffi suggested a live-action version of Winx Club as early as 2011. At that time, Viacom had become a co-owner of his studio and began funding his projects. Before giving green light to production, Straffi had worked on live-action shows as a producer for Nickelodeon's Club 57. Principal filming took place in September 2019 in Ireland.

During early stages of development, members of the original American Nickelodeon team, including voice actress Molly Quinn who voiced Bloom, met with the Fate production team to review the pilot script. Executive producer Joanne Lee from Rainbow also supervised the series. The rest of the crew was new to the Winx universe, and writers were drawn from teen drama productions such as The Vampire Diaries.

The series follows an ensemble cast derived from characters in the animated version. Its six-episode first season premiered on Netflix on 22 January 2021, attracting 57 million subscribers within the initial 28 days. In February 2021, the show was renewed for a second season, which dropped on 16 September 2022. After two seasons, the series ended in November 2022.

The narrative continued through graphic novels published by Mad Cave Studios, with the first volume appearing in July 2024.
