CBS Mornings 2021
CBS Mornings is an American morning television program that began on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. The show airs live each weekday from 7:00a.m. to 9:00a.m., Eastern Time, from Studio 57 within the CBS Broadcast Center. It is co-hosted by Gayle King, Nate Burleson, Norah O'Donnell, and Vladimir Duthiers. O'Donnell took over after Tony Dokoupil left to anchor the CBS Evening News in 2025.
This program is the 11th distinct weekday morning news-features format that CBS has aired since 1954, and the 10th effort to do so since the network restarted programming in that time slot in 1963. It directly replaces the second version of CBS This Morning.
The updated format connects CBS Mornings and its Saturday sister show, CBS Saturday Morning, more closely with the long-running weekend newsmagazine CBS News Sunday Morning. Both use the sun logo and "Abblasen" trumpet fanfare by Samuel Oatts, along with CBS' five-note jingle composed by Antfood. This reflects a partial return to a previous weekday morning show format used between 1979 and 1982.
