Arcane is a 2021 animated steampunk action-adventure television series produced by the French studio Fortiche under Riot Games' supervision and distributed by Netflix. The show, titled onscreen as Arcane: League of Legends, was created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Set in the universe of Riot's League of Legends, it centers on sisters Violet / "Vi" (Hailee Steinfeld) and Powder / Jinx (Mia Sinclair Jenness and Ella Purnell), who become involved in a conflict between their hometown underbelly of Zaun and the city of Piltover. First announced during the League of Legends tenth anniversary celebration in 2019, the series' first season premiered in November 2021, followed by its second and final season in November 2024.

The show received widespread critical acclaim, with particular praise for its animation, writing, worldbuilding, soundtrack, and voice acting, although some noted that the pacing of the second season was less successful. The series attracted both players unfamiliar with League of Legends and longtime fans of the game. Within a week of its launch, Arcane became Netflix's highest-rated series, ranked first on the Netflix Top 10 Chart in 52 countries, and second in the United States. Several critics have called it one of the finest video game adaptations ever made. It earned two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program and an Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production.
